The African mentor is a pet project of the Ganglion Initiative. It was created to act as an unofficial guide to foreign admission seekers and also compliment the largest Graduate admission webinar hosted on the the Facebook page of the ganglion initiative.

The Ganglion Initiative was established in 2017, as an organization tasked to create a generation of youths equipped to respond to the dynamic challenges of Africa. The future of Africa is poised to face numerous challenges ranging from governance to climate change. However, institutions on the continent are numerically inadequate and not evolving to respond to educate youths to tackle these prospective challenges
